Architecture as Code: Why Your Diagrams Deserve Better

Enterprise architecture has reached an absurd contradiction. We treat infrastructure as code. We version control API specifications. We automate deployment pipelines. We demand reproducibility, traceability, and automation at every layer of our technology stack.

Yet when it comes to documenting the architecture itself, we fire up desktop drawing tools like it’s 1995.
